At Psychotherapeutic Services, Inc., our 16-bed Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program provides a safe, supportive, and home-like environment for men on their journey to recovery. Each resident receives personalized care designed to promote healing and long-term wellness.

Our program combines evidence-based practices with compassionate support. We empower each resident to build a healthy, sober lifestyle backed by a strong foundation of care, skills, and community connection.

What We Offer

  • Individualized treatment plans based on the Stages of Change model and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • 24/7 supervision by caring, awake staff who foster a warm, respectful atmosphere
  • On-site psychiatric services including evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health support
  • Therapeutic services such as individual, group, and family therapy, peer support, and substance use education
  • Life skills and relapse prevention training to build confidence and independence
  • Community reintegration support through 12-step programs, outpatient referrals, and access to local resources
  • Post-discharge planning including help with education, job placement, and housing

Population Served

The residential SUD program serves men over the age of 18 with a primary substance use disorder diagnosis, living in the proximity of Kent County, Sussex County, and New Castle County. All admissions and continuing-stay decisions are driven by Delaware-ASAM criteria.

Fees & Charges

Our Residential SUD Program accepts Medicaid, private insurance, and self-pay options. For individuals without insurance, we offer a sliding fee scale based on income and ability to pay, as approved by the Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH). We are committed to making treatment accessible and affordable for all who need it.

Licensure & Accreditation

The Residential SUD Program is licensed by the Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) as a Substance Abuse and Co-occurring Rehabilitation Facility — reflecting our commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
