Psychotherapeutic Rehabilitation Services, Inc. (PRS) is committed to working with individuals to access the mental health services they need — helping each person make life decisions, develop choices, and improve their quality of life.
For those living independently in the community, we offer services at our day program site in Landover. Services are designed to assist individuals in improving and strengthening independent living and social skills. While building the individual's ability to make life decisions, we facilitate the development of choices, with the ultimate goal of improving quality of life. Services are provided according to an Individual Rehabilitation Plan developed by program staff in collaboration with the individual.
We provide daily living rehabilitation and support services to adults living in supervised housing in the community. PRS provides a home-like setting where individuals receive support in their activities of daily living, including medication management. Services are provided according to the Individual Rehabilitation Plan, developed by program staff in collaboration with the individual.
Psychotherapeutic Rehabilitation Services serves adults ages 21 and older, building independent living and social skills for individuals in Prince George's County, Maryland.
PRS is an authorized provider for Maryland Medical Assistance. As part of the Maryland Public Mental Health System, we also provide services to uninsured persons in accordance with APS-Care Connection coverage policies and standards. Psychotherapeutic Rehabilitation Services, Inc. is licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program and a Residential Rehabilitation Program. PRS is accredited by The Joint Commission.
