MADRE HOUSE I:
Madre House is a Level II sober living residence that services women diagnosed with Substance Abuse disorder based upon NARR Standards. The women live in a supervised environment, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. The program can house 10 women along with two children up to 12 years of age. The purpose of the Madre House is to provide a safe and healthy living environment to develop and maintain recovery. Madre House encourages the empowerment of the women they serve by having an advisory board of three selected clients. These three women work with the case manager and are included in the decision-making process. Madre House provides services in case management, coping skills, employment, community outreach and exposure to 12-step meetings. Clients are encouraged to participate in outpatient treatment services as well as work with psychiatric nurse practitioner to manage any mental health concerns and medication. The overall focus of the Madre House I is to have women develop a lifestyle of recovery and reintroduce them into society.
Fees & Charges
Individuals are billed for length of stay while in their beds and their cost of care is based on the benefit amounts they receive from Social Security, Disability or SSI.
Creditations and Licensures
They are certified by Delaware’s Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) and licensed through of the Division of Long Term Care Residents Protection. The Group Home is CARF Accredited.
Hours Of Operation
Mikee’s Place is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
